Lions Fall at Home to
Honkers, Drop to 4-2 in SVL Play |

After starting
4-0 in Sacramento Valley League play, the Live Oak High
School Varsity Boy's Basketball team has dropped two
straight games after Friday night's home loss to
Willows, 54-43. Markus Hackett scored 13 points and Ish
Gardon added 12, as well as 9 rebounds and 3 steals.
Paul Kang and Rahmain Qayum each added 8 points as the
Lions dropped to 4-2 in the SVL, 12-10 overall. The
Junior Varsity Lions also lost. No score or details were
available. |

Cibrian Scores Four Goals,
Soccer Team Beats Esparto |
|
The LOHS Boy's Soccer team won again Thursday, again off
the foot of area star Hector Cibrian. Cibrian netted
four goals as the Lions beat Esparto on the Road, 4-2,
despite the wet conditions. Live Oak (10-3-2, 9-3-2) got
assists from Adauro Aceves and Armando Araujo. Cibrian
now has 20 goals and 12 assists on the season with two
regular season games and the playoffs ahead. |

The LOHS Girl's Soccer team fell at Esparto Thursday,
